LITTLE WING GUY'S PROFILE
I may have little wings, but I have a big dick heart.
Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

I'd like to suggest this game for a development spotlight. He's just realised a new download, but the game in general is woefully overlooked.

part 2 is out boii
Congratulations, it's brilliant you're making process! It's unfortunate this game is criminally overlooked, hopefully this new download will spark more interest.

And of course you have to go through this at least twice if you want to get that chest.
Honestly, I'm actually really bad at designing good or intricate puzzles. There's more than one correct path for this, and the chest can be gotten through at least one of those paths. Don't worry!
Think of this as more of a dungeon gimmick than a full on thought provoking puzzle.

These portraits are nothing short of delightfully charming. They really show Avee's strength as a pixel artist. This shows improvement in leaps and bounds beyond what I've seen from Avee previously. Great work!
Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II Review
Personally I feel like reviews are typically either geared towards entertainment for the reader, or aimed at the creator to improve their game (or in some cases both). The way I've read the review is definitely leaning towards an entertainment factor, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I don't sense any intended maliciousness from Corfaisus, but I can understand it being a hard read for UPRC.
I feel like comment above from Corfaisus actually gives me more of an insight to how he really feels about the game than the review itself, because it's directly aimed at UPRC and not the general audience.
The response to this review from UPRC is actually so respectful and inspiring, and I have no doubt he will use it to spur on his future games. I have my own thoughts and feelings about this game, and I always think the best response is to write your own review.

For some reason I never comment on your reviews, but I have always enjoyed reading them - looking forward to it!

I swoon over custom made picture menus like I'm still in 2008, so you've got my vote. The colours definitely look better in picture B.
There is quite a bit of dead space on some of those screens. It generally doesn't bother me, but I do hope you fill some of it on the actual skill selection menu with some text explaining what those skills each do before you purchase them!

What are your favorite and least favorite parts of gam mak?
I see absolutely no appeal in making battle animations. Maybe if I could sprite or had any artistic talent I might enjoy making crazy cool and imaginative attacks - but I don't.
Nothing feels more like punishment than finding a sprite sheet, compiling an animation frame by frame, changing the sizes and transparencies, choosing all the sound effects and flashes, only to watch it back in disappointment with the sheer depression of knowing you have to do this for every ability in the game.
Also, yes I am a snob and can't bring myself to use the default animations. I am my own worst enemy.

I love the viney growth and the prospect of a water down/water up bridge-jumping puzzle! I think this one lacks a bit of colour/contract, though. It's very blue and blue/green, a bit of warmth would really compliment it well.
Thank you! The only thing I can safely think about adding is torches, and that's probably a good idea. Consider it done!

The main thing I'd worry about is just the separation between vine on wall and vine on floor visually.
If you genuinely think it messes the player being able to tell where they can and cannot walk, that is not ideal and I'll definitely explore ways to improve that. Thanks for the feedback.
So now what's the plan?

This is how I feel, too! I am silent, but not dead. I'm excited to see the new stuff in action! Will saves from the teaser work?
In theory, they should work perfectly. I've re-jigged the stats, items and money a fair bit as well as plenty of other random bits - so you might be poorer and weaker but otherwise it should be an easy transition!
I'll probably offer the chance to play the extra content to beta testers first (in which I'll include a save) but it won't be mandatory.
